PMI Note Font / Import to Insert->Curve->Text Font
PMI Note Font / Import to Insert->Curve->Text Font
(OP)
Hello everyone! Been MIA from this forum for the last 3.5 years. Feels like I never left.
We have a special font for silkscreening that is available when I insert a PMI note to a model. This font is not available in the Insert-Curve-Text command. Any ideas how to import it into that list?
Background info in case ya'll are curious...
The problem with using PMI notes to define silk-screening information is that I would prefer to have my part markings show up in every view a part is used in every drawing. Also would like the markings to be part of the "Solid" reference set.
I like Insert->Curve->Text command. Then extrude the text a small amount. Text ends up looks really nice in the model, and shows up where it is supposed to in drawing views.

As mentioned before, the font is not currently available in the insert->Curve->Text command. It has a little NX icon next to it. Does this mean there is no way to get it out of NX and into the Windows font folder?

If you're having problems figuring out what the different fonts look like, you can download a font viewer like the one I use, the 'Free & Easy Font Viewer'. You can learn more about this free utility at:
