Any thoughts?
It seems to be a difficult design.......

RE: Catia 5 R21 Modeling Assay

the design is not difficult. as you can see there are only several elements. use parameters while you do design.

Jenial,

Can you make it?....
How would you do it?

RE: Catia 5 R21 Modeling Assay

you can use or solid approach or surfacing approach method. in addition to that use parameters and formulas.

kr7530,

Thanks for your fast reply.
What version of Catia do you use?
I couldn't open the file you posted.
I use V5.R21 ........................

JeniaL,

I am primordially a NX user.
I do not like using surfaces (that's because I do not have GSD training).
Solid approach would be me first option...................
Which one is your preference? smile

RE: Catia 5 R21 Modeling Assay

depends. for a prismatic parts i'm going with solid approach. but most of the time i'm doing toling design for composites so in this case i'm going with surfacing.

just to get an idea start with a simple part with several elements. you'll see it's easy.
