Middle Mouse Button Function - Changes can't change back

Middle Mouse Button Function - Changes can't change back

(OP)
Sometimes in my CATIA when I press the middle roller-button and right button together instead of rotating the CATIA object CATIA will display a triangular pyramid and change the size of the CATIA object. I can no longer rotate the CATIA object unless I click on the ball-in-hand at the bottom of the screen.

I cannot figure out how to reset CATIA back to rotating. Sometimes I have to reset my entire computer to get things back to normal. PLEASE HELP.

I am running CATIA V5.20 on Windows 7 running on Mac 10.10 with Parallels Desktop. I use a generic 3-button USB mouse with a roller-button as the middle button, connected to my MacBook when I really want to do engineering things. I hold down the middle roller-button and then hold down the right button when I want to move the CATIA object around. Everything works great. Until it stops working.

RE: Middle Mouse Button Function - Changes can't change back

Holding shift with middle button is what brings up the triangular pyramid. I dont think its a setting

RE: Middle Mouse Button Function - Changes can't change back

if you want to reset settings just delete all catsettings. be ready to organize all of your icons location and all other setting from the beginning.
