Displaying dimensions in CAE results view - NX10

Displaying dimensions in CAE results view - NX10

(OP)
Hi there!

Is there an easy way to show dimensions in the results view? For example, when reporting on results, I want to give an indication of the size of the model on the screenshot of the results.

It can be something simple like maps usually have, a scale of sorts, or a true blue dimension.

Warm regards,
Juan

RE: Displaying dimensions in CAE results view - NX10

Hi Juan,

With your .sim file active, go to
Menu -> Format -> Layer Visible in View...

In the Dialog Box, click the Reset to Global button, then click OK, and click OK again. By doing so, all your entities (mesh, boundary cond, load, csys, etc) become visible in postview, and you can use that for measurement.

You can use the Measure Distance command to show the dimension.
Menu -> Analysis -> Measure Distance...

Regards,
Tuw
