Detail view settings

Our company just installed nx9 this week. Siemens was in earlier for the transition training which of course cannot cover everything, especially drafting.
My question is in regards to detail views. We use circular and rectangular boundaries for detail views with the leader attached to the boundary noting the view name. Now I see it seems to have gone backwards. Circular boundaries from the parent view generate a leader attached to the boundary of the detail view.
Whereas rectangular boundaries from the parent view do not have this option with a leader and does not generate a boundary around the detail view. is there a setting to allow this?

i know how to create a leader with the text that is associated to the view label so if the view label changes so does the view letter attached to the leader. I also know how to get a border similar to my boundary in the member view. This is cumbersome and time consuming.

my question: is there a setting to get the leader to show with rectangular detail view and show the rectangular boundary in the detail.

NX6 had it. I hope i am missing seeing a setting somewhere.

RE: Detail view settings

Can you be a bit more detailed about what behavior was in NX 6.0 that you say you can't find in NX 9.0?

I'm asking because as far as I can tell, there were no major changes made in NX 9.0 when it comes to how you create Detailed Views or how their boundaries are defined and annotated.

When creating a detail view with a circular boundary on the parent view it allows a leader with the detail letter attached to it and places a phantom boundary in the detail view.
when creating a detail view with a rectangular boundary there is no option I can see that allows a leader to be attached to it with the detail letter and the detail view does not have the phantom rectangular boundary.

I just tried it in my nx6 native mode and it reacts the same way as NX9. i am positive it worked correctly in NX6. I remember in earlier versions of NX having to add boundary lines and a leader and was so excited when it was finally available in newer nx versions. Maybe I was dreaming but dont think so. Maybe been using Catia V5 too long.
