Foam Chamber

Foam Chamber

Foam Chamber

(OP)
Hello Experts!

Good day!

Iam currently designing a foam chamber (particulary ansul). In the catalogue, it is mentioned the flow range between 40 psi to 100 psi which corresponds to cetain K-factor.

The thing is, the incoming pressure at the flanged inlet of the foam chamber is 130 psi. In this scenario, do I need to provide a PRV to reduce the pressure somewhere between 40 psi to 100 psi? Or, the orifice itself can reduce the pressure.

Thanks guys,
