Uplift resistance of cast circular piling in sand

I'm analyzing the two uplift legs of a four-legged transmission tower, which are resisted only by the weight of the 2.5 x 10.5 ft cast-in-place piling, and the skin friction of the surrounding sand. Does anyone have a recent source of methodology to calculate this resistance? I have some ASCE references that date back to the mid-1960's, but is there anything more recent?

This is a pretty standard geotech computation. You need some info on the soil types and typical properties thee. One thing not always apparent however is a future ground water situation that buoys up that concrete making it much less effective as to weight, as well as negatively affecting the soil nearby. Unfortunately that occasion sometimes is present during a storm with high winds present. Any geotech reference should do it, such as the NAVFAC manuals available at Vulcan website, free.
