RE: Material Property of ASTM A790 S32205

What property do you need? And acc. which code of construction (i.e. design code) are you working?

Thanks for your reply,
As i am doing Stress Analysis in CAESAR-II software, i need the Material Properties like,
1. Thermal Co-efficient of expansion
2. Basic Allowable stress at 105 Deg Celsius & 30 Deg Celsius according to ASME B 31.3 code
3. Poission's Ratio
4. Elastic Modulus at cold & Hot Temp.

Thanks
Iranna

RE: Material Property of ASTM A790 S32205

You should find design information for the material as ASME SA 790 in the materials manual of the ASME B&PV code, which will include typical and minimum allowable stress as a function of temperature. You should also find the other properties of interest.

RE: Material Property of ASTM A790 S32205

As youre referring CII, I assume your doing pipe stress analysis. For that youll find all the mentioned material properties in the design code.

Please note that the design code may set some values temperature independent (like poisson ratio), or have restrictions re its application (e.g. use of hot modulus in B31.3)
