NACE MR0175/ISO15156 Comply Materials

NACE MR0175/ISO15156 Comply Materials

NACE MR0175/ISO15156 Comply Materials

(OP)
NACE MR0175/ISO15156-2 gives examples of tubular products that can comply with A.2.1 are shown in Table A.2. But this table is just for an example not listed all materials. Is there any list which shows all materials comply with NACE MR0175/ISO15156-2?
I am looking for A672 C60 CL22 pipe.
Thank you.

RE: NACE MR0175/ISO15156 Comply Materials

Does it meet the requirements? Alloy and hardness limits?
Not every material is listed, but the rules are.

RE: NACE MR0175/ISO15156 Comply Materials

It is not possible to construct such a list since, with a great number of product specifications, the necessary requirements for compliance are not built in. Thus, compliance can only be demonstrated after manufacture and testing. Inclusion of such lists in the standard, under the premise that they cancomply, is misleading. For example, with A672, hardness testing is a supplementary requirement and has no stipulated acceptance criterion. Thus, it could comply, but compliance won't be known unless the supplementary requirement is exercised and the agreed hardness criterion is achieved.

You may wish to then consider the implications of involving HIC and how compliance can be achieved in that instance. Another reason why giving lists of potential candidate material standards is misleading, and why a listing of compliant materials cannot be produced.
