Unnecessary lines in drafting

Unnecessary lines in drafting

Unnecessary lines in drafting

(OP)
Hi all,

I was creating a drawing of an assembly in NX. The Jt part in assembly when projected as a view shows multiple lines on surface by default making the part as black object while other NX parts are visible clearly like they should.
Any solution?

And also is there a way to hide the extra lines or show only boundary/ outermost shape without inner contours of a part using render sets?

RE: Unnecessary lines in drafting

It seems like there is no way to fix the multiple line issue obtained while using render sets by using a jt file. There is no problem while using the NX part file except for loading times.
And I figured the solution to my second comment. It was the filters/checkboxes that I had to use present around hidden lines option in render sets.
