DEFINING RENDER SETS

DEFINING RENDER SETS

DEFINING RENDER SETS

(OP)
Under Preferences - Drafting - view - common - generak, there is a button for Define.

When we go to this, the settings are often not what we would like. We would like the line thickness set as thin, and dashed for instance. Is it possible to set these up in defaults? I cannot find them in customer defaults.
If not, is it possible to write a journal that will change these? When I record journals, they dont seem to work for these settings.

RE: DEFINING RENDER SETS

The settings in the "Define" button are for the optional render set(s) used in the view, not the usual geometry shown in the view.

To set the line weights and fonts for view geometry in the customer defaults, go to: Drafting -> general -> standard -> customize standard -> view -> {set the line font and weight in various tabs such as visible lines, hidden lines, detail, etc}.

I know it sounds frivolous, but I was actually wanting to make it so that when someone goes into render sets that the options would already be set. There are a couple guys who get annoyed with having to change the settings every time they go into it.
