Predefine References for Sketching Constraints

Predefine References for Sketching Constraints

Predefine References for Sketching Constraints

(OP)
Using NX 9...
Within the NX sketching function is there a way to define specific references within the already modeled geometry so that while you are sketching the lines, points, or whatever they will default to those items that were "pre"selected before beginning the sketching process?
I find it slightly or sometimes very cumbersome to ensure I'm using the same reference the rest of the sketch items are using when that's my intent. If there was a way to predefine specific reference items, that would speed the sketching process, at least for me, instead of focusing on selecting the specific edge each and every time I need it.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to focus the sketching on referencing particular items to speed the process along?
I'm also hoping by having that ability it will remove the uncertainty on what I specifically referenced so I have the model intent better in mind so when features change I know what might fail later in the part navigator list.

Thanks all!
