WELD DESIGN IN PRESSURE VESSELS AND SUPPORTS

WELD DESIGN IN PRESSURE VESSELS AND SUPPORTS

WELD DESIGN IN PRESSURE VESSELS AND SUPPORTS

(OP)
Hello,

I need help with the design of joint for welding in Vessels using the ASME VIII div 1

My questions are:

In what part of the ASME code Can I find about type of joint, root size and groove size?

For the welding in structural supports like legs, lugs, skirts, the design could be using a strucutral code like AISC? or what recomendations do you give me for the welding design in this components?

Thanks in advance

RE: WELD DESIGN IN PRESSURE VESSELS AND SUPPORTS

ASME VIII provides many joint design figures. You need the help of a consultant. You obviously have no experience in vessel design or construction.
