DIN 11851 couplings allowed in B31.3?

DIN 11851 couplings allowed in B31.3?

DIN 11851 couplings allowed in B31.3?

(OP)
This coupling is widely used in Europe, and I'm wondering if this is allowed in a B31.3 process skid?

DIN 11851 coupling (iso 1127)

The reason I ask is because we have very good experience with these and there are nice Threaded male-part adapters available for them (which I can't seem to find for Tri-clamp).

RE: DIN 11851 couplings allowed in B31.3?

This would probably fall under para 304.7.2, as the fittings themselvew are a listed component standard, and the material probably isnt listed in table A-1 (Im wording on a DIN 11850 piping system currently too and noticed the same). I think the fitting materials are per EN 10088-1 1.4404.
