I will be starting design work on a project soon that will be built in Russia. It is for a plant - i.e. lots of steel access platforms, equipment support pads, etc. Any advice on which standards to buy (Russian - Gost)? I've seen a site where you can buy translated versions of the typical stuff - concrete, steel, etc. Just wondering if there are others that might be necessary. Also not sure if there is anything specific/unusual in terms of requirements over there. Any advice would be appreciated.

RE: Russian Standards

For in-place structures, mandatory requirement are SNiP II-23-81 Steel Structures, SNiP 2.03.01-84 Concrete and Reinforced Concrete, SNiP 2.01.07-85 Loads and Effects. Other GOST and SP Guidelines are referenced by the mentioned codes.
