reattaching an assembly cut sketch

reattaching an assembly cut sketch

reattaching an assembly cut sketch

(OP)
Hello,

I'm trying to understand assembly cut. I created one in my assembly by extruding a cylinder and cutting one of my components and it works fine. However, if I wanted to reattach that sketch to another face in the assembly, when I edit the sketch, none of the components are visible. I checked layers and reference sets and everything is visible. Am I missing something? I'm guessing it's something simple? I've attached a picture to show what's going on.

Thanks,

Al

RE: reattaching an assembly cut sketch

What version of NX are you running? I just tested this in NX 9.0 and it seems to work fine, at least in the example I tried.

John I am on 9.0.3.4. I'm getting this behavior and so are two other drafters with a different assembly.

Thanks
