Clipping Planes in MDT4 showing surfaces not solids

Clipping Planes in MDT4 showing surfaces not solids

(OP)
Hello:

When I use clip plane (MDT4)to view an assembly instead of seeing sections of the parts in solids they are showned as surfaces.

ex: if I use clip plane to see inside a solid cube I see into an empty box.

How can I fix this?

Thanks

RE: Clipping Planes in MDT4 showing surfaces not solids

Dear Osx,
All 3DSolids and Parts in Mechanical Desktop are hollow and their mass properties are saved in the drawing memory, so clipping them will show you inside.
