RE: For help:tell me the book name and author

ASM Handbook Volume 1 in the Stainless Steel chapter (it has been updated since). You'll also find it in the Metals Handbook Desk Edition.

(OP)
Thanks mrfailure, but the title for the figure was not "Figure 2.1". The text ,not completely presented, in the bottom and left of the picture uploaded didn't comply with the ASM handbook

RE: For help:tell me the book name and author

Figure 2.1 you reference is also referenced below and is nearly identical with Figure 1 in
Wrought Stainless Steels: Selection and Application, Metals Handbook Desk Edition, ASM International, 1998, p. 362–375. You can check the reference to the exact source.

RE: For help:tell me the book name and author

ASM has recycled that figure a lot over the years; you will probably be OK referencing either of the ASM handbooks we mentioned even if you do not know where it first appeared.

RE: For help:tell me the book name and author

You can also find it listed as Figure 12.3 on page 296 in the chapter titled "Stainless Steels" in the book Metallurgy for the Non-Metallurgist, Second Edition by Arthur Reardon. ASM International is the publisher. The book was published in November, 2011.
