Hydraulic Pressure Regulator / Reducer Supplier

Hydraulic Pressure Regulator / Reducer Supplier

(OP)
I am looking for a hydraulic pressure regulator / reducer which can handle 1,500 L/min of a water glycol fluid taking the pressure stored within a bank of accumulators @ 4,000 Psi down to a supply pressure of 1,500 Psi.

Any ideas who would be able to supply not only a valve of this size but one which will be able to run on a glycol fluid?

Suggestion, but you will have to ask directly to get a special version for your capacity, or have to use parallells. Company is known for ability to quote and supply special versions in reasonable time. Better commercially availablle versions in Europe if you can go down to P1 250 bar (3626 psi.) US standard flanges should be no problem on machined valves.

For all manner of control valves, turndown is an important feature - what flow condition will result in max opening of of the PCV and the flow condition that will result in min opening of the control valve. For a regulator, permissible % droop in setpoint as flow varies may force the selection to a pilot operated type rather than a simpler non pilot driven device - this should also be stated. Mechanical design conditions are also parameters that a regulator vendor will be looking for when they make selections. Physical properties of the glycol at the full operating range should also be included, along with expected impurities / contaminants.
