tension and torsion in a tube

tension and torsion in a tube

(OP)
Hello!!

I am new in abaqus and I face a problem. I have a tube, which is stable on one side. On the other side, I apply tension in a first step and in a second step torsion. When I apply tension, I set 0 displacement on the other 2 directions, but in the second step there is displacement in all directions. Deactivating the first boundary condition in the second step, I saw that the results from tension are not satisfying. Do you know how can I solve this problem? Thank you!

RE: tension and torsion in a tube

Could you up load a few pic or the CAE to understand better what happen??
