I've got rather large parasolid files I need to import into NX 9.0, the largest being around 760 MB, and my computer's just not good enough to get it done. Is there a way I can export it into a lighter file? Thanks in advance

RE: Importing Large Parasolid

Not really.
I think the only way to do it is divide it up before exporting it from the initial source.

Thanks for the response.
Does directly opening a parasolid (X_T) file from UG, saving it to a different location then opening it from there help at all/load faster? I'm opening these files from an external drive by the way

RE: Importing Large Parasolid

If you toss your file on your Local Hard drive, opening this file will be the quickest. This way you are not going through the USB port. Not much gain but a little depends on what type of harddrive you have!

Thanks!
