Abaqus - Contact Simulation. Unable to achieve contact

(OP)
Hello everyone

I am new to this group. I am currently doing project on freewheel device and i am trying to simulate a contact model of freewheel mechanism using ABAQUS.

I have made the CAD on SolidWokrs and imported the assembly file (format : Parasolid *x_t). I followed the general procedures for simulating 'Surface-to-Surface' contact.

But so far, I am unable to achieve the contact. The models just simply pass by each other.

@Ice Breaker,

Even i looked at the .cae file myself and worked on it before, he has assigned normal contact to the model.

RE: Abaqus - Contact Simulation. Unable to achieve contact

Are the two objects too far apart to make contact so that it only appears that they are passing through each other because the displacements have been scaled up?
