Install Mouse 3D

(OP)
Can you somebody help install Mouse in Nx? My model mouse 3d is Space navigator. I downloaded new software support in site 3D conexxion, but now I can't move the body's em Nx.

RE: Install Mouse 3D

When you have installed the driver you will find in the installation folder a readme file...

3Dconnexion made some major changes to the installation with the new driver (which is now for all models)

IMPORTANT:
----------

* Loading the plug-in

- First use of the plug-in:
i) In order to use the 3DxConnexion device, you must make sure that 3DxWare/Xdriver is running;
ii) Start NX.

NX automatically loads the 3DxNX.men, 3DxNXpopup.men etc. customizations which creates shortcuts for a number of views. These are required by 3DxWare for the enhanced
SpacePilot and SpaceMouse view features.

* Environment variables (set in the system environment) needed to find and load the 3DxNX library and UI files:

· UGII_3DCONNEXION_DIR – used to find the localization and bitmaps used in the UI.
this also points to the base of the x64 ui customizations
· UGII_3DCONNEXION_DIR32 – used to find the x86 ui customizations

The following only applies to NX 10.0.0 or earlier. In NX 10.0.1 and later the entries will be in the defaults for NX, however, the latter can be
overwritten by adding similar entries to the files mentioned below.

* Environment variables (set in the NX ugii_env.dat file) needed to find and load the 3DxNX library (this only apples to NX 10.0.0 and earlier)

· UGII_3DCONNEXION_LIBRARY – defines the full path to the 3DxNX library that implements the 3D device’s button action interface.
For x64 NX installations this set as
UGII_3DCONNEXION_LIBRARY=${UGII_3DCONNEXION_DIR}\${UGII_VERSION}\startup\3DxNX.dll
For win32 NX installations this set as
UGII_3DCONNEXION_LIBRARY=${UGII_3DCONNEXION_DIR32}\${UGII_VERSION}\startup\3DxNX.dll

* Entries added to the NX custom_dirs.dat file needed to find and load the UI files (this only apples to NX 10.0.0 and earlier)

· $UGII_3DCONNEXION_DIR/$UGII_VERSION – added in NX x64 versions
· $UGII_3DCONNEXION_DIR32/$UGII_VERSION – added in NX win32 versions

Without having these environment variables set properly prior to running NX, the 3DxNX files will not be found or loaded correctly.
For a local installation of NX, these will be normally correctly set by the installer.
