Import of native NX assembly into TC

Import of native NX assembly into TC

Import of native NX assembly into TC

(OP)
Hello,

I am struggling to get a downloaded Destaco clamp imported into our Teamcenter installation. I am attempting to use the import assembly into TC command and navigating the various options that are available within it. My failure mode is related to default user/group. What is the format for this?

NX7.5/TC 8.3

Thanks.

RE: Import of native NX assembly into TC

Did you have a look in the helpfiles?
I would say (looking at how the folder path is written) the . should be : But I can be wrong...

I always change ownership after importing...

nutace - Thanks for the response.

Yeah - I looked through the help files. The ownership section is really vague. I tried a colon in place of the . and the error persists.

You mentioned that you typically change ownership after the import... how are you avoiding this? I am being forced to provide it. Or at least that's how I am interpreting the error feedback I'm getting. Maybe that's not my issue???

RE: Import of native NX assembly into TC

There is no need to provide it when importing. Just leave them empty.
Anything you import will be with your ownership in the group you are logged on to.
