How to have an axial load in modal analysis

How to have an axial load in modal analysis

(OP)
Hi,I want to have axial load in a modal analysis but I can't do that because the Force option is gray.
Thanks in advance for any help

RE: How to have an axial load in modal analysis

Do a static analysis using an axial load first. Then use the pre stress analysis to calculate modal analysis results.
If you use workbench, then add a structural environment using axial load. On the solution tab, right click and then choose "transfer data to new modal analysis" then conduct the modal run.
