Ground Resistance in Permafrost

(OP)
I am a geotechnical engineer and been asked to provide ground resistivity test on a permafrost site in Alaska. I've never done this kind of work so I wanna make sure what I am going to do will be correct. I will be using 4-pole Wenner method.

I am planning to vary my probe intervals from 5 ft to 60 ft and produce a chart showing probe interval and resistivity. I reason I think I should go to 60 ft is because the structural steel piles can may go that deep. Is this understanding correct?

The test results will be reported in a small section in geotechnical report. I guess what do you Electric Engineer expect in my report?

Thank you.
