ETAP LOAD FLOW

ETAP LOAD FLOW

ETAP LOAD FLOW

(OP)
Hello everyone,

I'm trying to do a load flow study on ETAP with power grid and generators as source, but etap only considere the generators on the study.

I'm using ETAP 12.0.

The Load Flow Study works when i use only one source, generators or Grid.

The generators are co-generators units.

I need to do a parallel betwen the grid and the generators units.

Can anyone help me?

RE: ETAP LOAD FLOW

nioxys,
If you had an ETAP training I think you will not ask this question. In your case use Utility Grid as the swing bus and put generator on Voltage control which is the
normal mode of parallel operation. But if the gen capability curve is violated then you may have to switch to either MVAR control or PF mode.
