PUMP MODEL
PUMP MODEL
(OP)
Hey guys,
Are there any AODD pump models that can comply to a maximum suction pressure of 150psig (this is due the pump is designed to a design to the maximum pressure of the source vessel. Some pump vendor can only limit there max suction pressure to 5 psig.
Also, are there any options to make this pump good for a specified max suction pressure of 150psig?
Thanks!

You could possibly put a back pressure regulator on the pump so the discharge air pressure from the pump is always higher than the suction pressure. There should be no danger of over-pressuring any part of the pump as long as the input air pressure is within the pump's pressure rating. However, the energy efficiency of the pump will be dreadful.
