ASCE 7-10 SEISMIC LOADING

(OP)
Guys, I have followed asce 7-10 seismic loading code but I am not sure if I followed it properly. Since we have no seismic activity here we don't usually bother with it but I have a project in a highly seismic area (US Virgin Islands), so if anyone could possibly direct me to a design example resource, this would aid me to be more confident in my designs!

These are great: Link

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.

I think that may be a little too heavy for me kootk, we don't design buildings. However, having that in my gun cabinet might be useful someday. Thanks much.

Volume 1 should be perfect for you. It has examples for both buildings and non-buildings and they are about as simple as could be expected while still being of any use at all.
