Permanent magnet stepper: Inductance Vs. Torque ??

Permanent magnet stepper: Inductance Vs. Torque ??

Permanent magnet stepper: Inductance Vs. Torque ??

(OP)
Hello.
Im trying to understand the impact of inductance change on the torque for a Permanent magnet stepper.
Let say we have two stepper motors.
A have 3 mH
B have 3.7 mH
All other parameters are the same in the motors.
Let assume both use same driver optimized for motor A and both are driven with the same parameters.
What will be the effect of this difference ?

Hello David.

Not entirely.
I'm having a discussion with my colleague, we disagree on the impact such a diffrence. I don't seem to find a discussion focusing on the Inductance Vs. Torque.
Only the inductance Vs. Speed is widely discussed.

Thanks
