RE: nx 9 visulation issue

It's "as designed" ,Personally I hate it. I work on small assemblies and tooling.

There is a document explaining it here: link
You'll need Webkey access to view it.

This very cumbersome, as while dmu analysis we check by putting section and and section doenot match the face. It has been given one false result and we changed part. We had hamperwd our delivery date for same.

Also section section does not update while drading, they update when we stop dragging.

There is no need of so many option in section display menu.

This behavior is there to provide improved graphical performance, particularly with large models, however, this can be controlled by the user. If you're talking about Components in an Assembly, simply toggle OFF the 'Use Lightweight Representations' option on the 'Assembly Load Option' dialog. If you're talking about how piece parts look, then go to...

Preferences -> Visualization -> Faceting

...and in the 'Part Settings' section for 'Shaded Views' set the 'Facet Scale' option to 'View' and then set whatever level of 'Resolution' you feel is needed to give you the results you desire.

RE: nx 9 visulation issue

Then try using the 'Fixed' option for the 'Facet Scale'. That way it will not depend on whether you're zoomed in or not as the display will be unaffected by the scale of your view.

RE: nx 9 visulation issue

Sometimes "fixed" helps. other times you still have to update display or even regenerate.
its a major inconvenience for those of us who work on "smaller" models and assemblies.
I've tried to make a journal but those settings are not supported
