NX Cam Anti-backlash engage moves for drilling...

NX Cam Anti-backlash engage moves for drilling...

(OP)
Long story short, home from work now and forgot my GTAC password...
I'm at a shop with OLD iron to program on. Typically I must use a short 45 degree anti-backlash engage move prior drilling a hole (old problem I know). Was hoping someone has come up with a grip, journal, a hidden feature, or other magic to allow one to select a large group of holes in one operation and apply the engage move to every hole. I'm back to creating a drilling ops for each and every hole (just did 88 holes today). Anyone finally come up with a way? (Mark?)

Thanks.
Bill

RE: NX Cam Anti-backlash engage moves for drilling...

Hi Bill,

If it is just drilling op you are doing and if you have Catia-V5 available at your workplace, then it can be easily done in V5. If NX doesn't have this capability then it has to be done in the post-processor.

Regards

Thanks Mark. The little caveat I forgot to mention: I'm forced into Icam for the foreseeable future. (I remember when life was simple - Could make my own Postbuilder posts that worked perfect with NX)
