Character size reduces after 2D exchange

Character size reduces after 2D exchange

Character size reduces after 2D exchange

(OP)
Hi,
I have a part file and im using ug_export.exe to export the specification(drawing). After this im calling Export->2D Exchange(in the export to dropdown option im selecting "Drafting"). The part file has few PMI labels and when i open the 2D file the character size is reduced by 10mm(Intially 35mm after 2D exchange 3.5 mm). Can anyone explain why this happening and how can i resolve this.

RE: Character size reduces after 2D exchange

Have you used the "control characters" to set the text height ?
I.e instead of setting the character Height via "Settings" ( NX10) / Style ( pre NX9)
somebody has set the height in the note editor as : <C10>the scaled text<C>
In NX the above would produce a note in the height of 35 mm, if the default height is 3.5

If i guess, that will not translate well.

Regards,
Tomas
