Modeling Unreinforced Masonry in Abaqus

Modeling Unreinforced Masonry in Abaqus

(OP)
Dear All,

I would like to model a shear wall in unreinforced masonry, in which crack propagation can be observed. I would like to use a micro-macro (or simplified micro-model) approach in which the the blocks are jointed with the use of interface elements.

I'm searching for step by step information on how to model the material behavior in Abaqus. The Abaqus manual does not give any information on modeling of masonry.
