co-simulation Abaqus/Star-ccm+

co-simulation Abaqus/Star-ccm+

(OP)
Hello,

I am interested performing a co-simulation between Abaqus and star-ccm+ to look at stress, creep and thermal results.

After looking at the user guides I see that 'coupled temp-displacement' would be the best option - please correct me if I am wrong?

Also, sometimes I get 'interment' error message on Abaqus which is related to the time step.

Is it possible to run the Abaqus in steady-state and star-ccm+ in transient mode?

I would like to know if anyone can help me with some feedback.

Thanks,
A
