Equation constraints DOF Abaqus

(OP)
Hello everyone,

I am having this error message when i am applying 'equation constraints' between two nodes:

"1 nodes are missing degree of freedoms. The MPC/Equation/kinematic coupling constraints can not be formed. The nodes have been identified in node set ErrNodeMissingDofConstrDef".

What could i do to fix the error?

I've tried to switch master/slave nodes in the equation, tried to create new set nodes not used before in another equation, but still have the same problem. Do you have any other suggestion?

Thank you in advance

RE: Equation constraints DOF Abaqus

When there's a missing degree of freedom it usually means you have some other boundary condition or contact definition on that node/surface. Check in the odb file where these nodes are by selecting the nodal set and see if these conflict with some other condition you've applied.
