DISPLAY PART PROPERTIES

in the DISPLAY PART PROPERTIES dialog box the value & title/alias text boxes are way too small for all the characters to appear. even when making the window larger it still has only 20 characters. any way to make it bigger?

RE: DISPLAY PART PROPERTIES

What version of NX are you running? And are you talking about Part Attribute names and values?

file>proporties

nx9....worked same in nx8 i think nx3 it would let you see 50+ characters. with long descriptions this was very handy....now handcuffed into 20 characters?

RE: DISPLAY PART PROPERTIES

filbbb,

I've often thought of this issue as well. It seems like an over-site that would be nice if it didnt exist. :)

john. file> properties. opens the DISPLAY PART PROPERTIES dialog box. the values only let you see 20 characters

HercalloY agreed it looks like an oversite

NX9.0.2.5

RE: DISPLAY PART PROPERTIES

Yes, I agree that this is a PIA. Please contact GTAC and have them open an ER to the effect that these fields need to be longer or we need some other scheme for entering and editing long attribute values.
