Non-slam Check Valve Etymology
Non-slam Check Valve Etymology
(OP)
Hi everybody,
There are some naming in industry with confusing aspect (my favorite is "Car seal"). One of them, I think, is non-slam check valve. It seems by selecting low response time, it actually slam on the seat. But my conception is that maybe it prevents slamming on the protected upstream equipment (say, pump or compressor). Am I right?

RE: Non-slam Check Valve Etymology
1- Is there any literature about non-slam check valve?
2- How it is verified as a non-slam?
3- How closing time is measured in the factory?
