Flange corners

Flange corners

Hi,
Does anyone know how to get 45deg corners butted on two separate parts in assembly. In this picture it shows how the transparent part has the overlapping edge.

RE: Flange corners

It they're two separate parts, you'll need to modify the corner features in each part file to accommodate for the overlap. Or, you can create an assembly cut and have it propagate to the part files.

RE: Flange corners

Adjust the flange sketch in either or both parts.

Thanks, I found the solution. Instead of using edge flange and trying to get the software to automatically make a clean edge I just drew my own sketch and did a base/tab extrude. I'll have to look into assembly cut as well.
