Beginner's Approach to Dynamic Analysis of Structures

(OP)
As an entry level engineer new to the field of design, can someone suggest any resources to consult for the dynamic and seismic analysis of structures?

Thanks in advance.

RE: Beginner's Approach to Dynamic Analysis of Structures

I learned from Chopra myself and certainly second that recommendation. I recently read this and found it to be excellent: Link. It's relatively short and concise which appeals to me now that all of my continuing education occurs in the evenings and on weekends.

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.
