Subsurface gas pressure relief systems & radon testing

(OP)
Hello All,

I'm flipping through the shiny new 2014 Canadian Building Code books that showed up (finally...) and noticed that all houses need to have roughins for radon venting installed now.

Is this a detail that you would typically specify, or is this going to fall into the architects domain?

Also in the back of my mind I'm thinking of testing services, we already have field crews doing soils testing & form A, and once the building envelope is done we might be able to do 30 day E-PERM tests before occupancy. Does your firm / practice get involved with radon testing?
