Fabrication and welding according to international standard

Fabrication and welding according to international standard

Fabrication and welding according to international standard

(OP)
It is a mandatory requirement from our customer that the fabrication (also welding) has to be done according to an international approved standard.
And our welders have to be certified according to these standards, as well as the testing of those welds.
Materials involved are AISI 304/316/316Ti, Hastelloy C-22 and plain carbon steel.

For the products we produce we officially do not need to relate to a standard (like ASME or AD-2000).
All our equipment can still be produced using GEP/GMP.
Only for this project it is a mandatory additional requirement.

Does anyone know if an international approved standard exists which describes f.e. Good manufacturing process and an "easy" weld/welders qualification?
We officially need these qualifications for this particular project only.
Any information on possible escapes are highly appreciated!

RE: Fabrication and welding according to international standard

If you are looking for the "easy way out", try doing a search for the "Farm Code 2002".

Best regards - Al
