Ribbon customizing - Add journals, makros to new ribbon groups

Ribbon customizing - Add journals, makros to new ribbon groups

(OP)
How to integrate journals, makros (with or without icons) into new ribbon groups as a "file based customizing".

Pre NX9, 10 we did this inside tbr-files like:
BUTTON Preview-Image
LABEL Preview-Image
BITMAP W:\ug_nx8\ugii\bitmaps\preview-picture.bmp
ACTION W:\ug_nx8\makros\create_preview.macro

RE: Ribbon customizing - Add journals, makros to new ribbon groups

I was just reminded that this link was also included in SFB-NX-7793, the Software Field Bulletin "Retirement of NX Classic Toolbar User Interface from the Windows platform" which was emailed to customers in November 2013. So if you have that filed away, it has more details. We wanted users with customized UIs to have the information and time they need to prepare.

the mentioned document solved nearly all of my customizing problems.
Except the Quick Access Toolbar on top of the Windows - don't know which tbr- or dlx-file is responsible for the qat-design.
