automated drawing notes in NX8.5

automated drawing notes in NX8.5

(OP)
Hello,
I am trying to create a list of notes for a drawing from a known pool of notes.
I was thinking of making UI menu to choose which notes to display, what indent level should the note have and under which notes to indent and then to automate the creation of the notes list.
The more advanced stage will be to automate this method by accessing the material attribute and letting the user a default set of choises in the UI menu.
The implementation can be done via VB or GRIP or any available method...

Have anybody tried of succeed of achieving a similar feature?
Thank you
Mor Tamir

any one?

RE: automated drawing notes in NX8.5

The company I used to work for had a GRIP program that did this (10+ years ago). So, to answer your question: yes, it is possible.

That is a great idea. Pretty involved for somebody to create it for a forum. If somebody has created something like this I hope they share it.
