Hydrocarbon Dew-Point Analyzer- General Information
Hydrocarbon Dew-Point Analyzer- General Information
(OP)
I am exploring options for a Hydrocarbon Dew-Point Analyzer but cannot find anybody in town who has experience using these. I have a couple of questions for people who have first hand experience.
1) Chilled mirror technology- Is this sensitive to ambient temperature fluctuations?
2) Are these instruments typically heat traced or put in a controlled environment?
3) Has anyone experienced reliability issues using these?
4) Any tips/ advice with using these?

RE: Hydrocarbon Dew-Point Analyzer- General Information
I can't remember the installation details but the unit comes in a compact enclosure and it worked with no issues between -20 degC and +35 degC.
They also offer other types of HC dew point analyzers - you may wish to discuss the subject directly with their representatives.

In many cases, you may find the sample preconditioning unit has more kit in it than the analyser itself.
