Exporting a .stp file of an assemlby containing position overides

(OP)
Is there a suscessful way to export a .stp file of an assembly that contains positional overrides?

Currently everytime I export the step file all of the components with positional overides revert back to thier base constraints.

RE: Exporting a .stp file of an assemlby containing position overides

If it works the same as exploded views, we usually export parasolid first, that maintains the exploded positions and then re import it and back out as stp if they must have it>
