The vessel design pressure is 0.035MPaG at 300 degC, however the diameter itself was really big, 2300 mm. What worries me is that the vessel design temperature is quite low for that design temperature. Furthermore, inside the vessel lies a spiral coil for heating at 0.7 MPaG at 325 degC. In my logic thinking is that the vessel design condition itself is lower than the heating coil, I don't think the vessel should be under that design condition.

An opinion on this one would be much appreciated.

You have have the heating coil designed for higher conditions than the vessel it's installed in. You do need to consider what happens if the heating coil ruptures and how would the inflow of fluid be relieved without overpressuring the external vessel.
