Going through an instruction manual...
(OP)
I was reading up on calibrating electronic controls for a particular piece of equipment and came upon a phrase which instructed to "block motor" to measure voltage (Umin and Umax). The parent company is in Germany and have not ran across this verbiage before. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thank you.

RE: Going through an instruction manual...
What kind of equipment is it about? Som motors cannot take full current for more than a few seconds when braked. The collector gets deformed if it isn't allowed to turn.

Half full - Half empty? I don't mind. It's what in it that counts.
