Clarification on what disconnects fall into this requirement?

I'm not sure which Allen Bradley disconnect your speaking of but you can have a service defeat mechanism as long as it has self restoring mechanism. Most disconnect devices should meet the requirements of IEC 947-3 for disconnect devices.

By "self restoring" means that when you close the door it must be reset or the door will not close.
