Convert existing front view into section view

(OP)
Hi,
Is it possible to change the existing front view or top view into section view. My problem is I have taken the top view of the assembly and completed all those dimensions and submitted for the drawing review. But, in the review, I got a comment that instead of taking top view, I need to take section view little bit lower height so that I will have all the same dimensions other than some components hide and hatch will come in some parts. Now, if I redraw that view it will take another three hours. If I able to convert that top view into section view, I can complete that within ten minutes. Is it possible. Kindly provide any idea.
Suresh

RE: Convert existing front view into section view

Apply a 3D clipping with a box (what is in the box is in the view) or a breakout view (better result as clipping line not the same a breakout line in my standard)

done in few seconds... smile
